How broadband prices and VAT work

Catalog prices are ex VAT. UK VAT is added at checkout. A router is a one-off charge, and voice seats are monthly.

Prices on the broadband pages are exclusive of VAT. The amount you pay is shown at checkout, with UK VAT added where it applies.

What is ex VAT

A monthly plan price on the site does not include VAT. At checkout, UK VAT at the prevailing rate is added where it applies. The rate in use is 20%.

Leased line quotes are also ex VAT. The quote is for that site, not a price taken from the shared broadband list.

What is charged once

A router is a one-off charge. An install fee, when the contract does not include standard install, is also a one-off and is shown at checkout.

Number porting and a new Cloud Voice number are one-off fees, not a monthly registration charge.

What is charged each month

The circuit is billed monthly for the contract term. Cloud Voice seats, if you add them, are billed monthly with the circuit. Handset rental is monthly. Buying a handset outright is a one-off.

Feature add-ons such as call recording or a receptionist console are monthly, and the price is on the order.
