Full fibre download and upload

Openreach full fibre plans publish a download speed and a lower upload. The plan name shows both, such as 80/20 or 1000/115.

The number in a full fibre plan name is the download speed in megabits per second. Where a second number is shown, that is the upload.

How to read a plan

Full fibre 80/20 is 80 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload. Full fibre 330/50 is 330 Mbps down and 50 Mbps up. Full fibre 1000/115 is 1000 Mbps down and 115 Mbps up. Faster Openreach tiers continue that pattern, including 1200/120 and 1800/120.

Those speeds are the product you are ordering. They are not a guarantee that every address can take the top tier. The postcode check and the network confirmation decide what can be installed.

Above 1 Gbps

Plans above 1 Gbps use the TP-Link EX820V. Plans up to 1 Gbps use the EX230V. You can use your own router if it supports the access type.

Where upload matches download

Symmetrical products do not use a lower second figure. The upload is the same as the download, and a static IPv4 address is included. That is covered in what symmetrical full fibre means.
